Entry Criteria

Grade 4 in both English and maths GCSEs, and at least 3 other qualifications at 4 or above including at least grade 6 at GCSE science.

How will I be assessed?

Students are assessed by three external examinations at the end of year 13. There is also a  required practical endorsement which students must complete the achieve their final  qualification.

Career opportunities and Future study

A Level physics is a hugely well respected qualification by employers, colleges and universities.  Physics is an ideal subject to complement studies in  mathematics and other sciences.  A level Physics will take you in a multitude of directions like:
